Completing Gunsmith Part 1 Quest Overview

This guide covers the Gunsmith Part 1 quest available after meeting the following prerequisites:

Requirements:

• Minimum player level is 2

Objectives:

• Modify a MP-133 shotgun to match the required specifications listed below

Rewards for Completing:

• +800 EXP
• +0.01 Mechanic loyalty level
• 10,000 Roubles (10,500 Roubles with Intelligence Center Level 1/11,500 Roubles with Intelligence Center Level 2)
• 1× Screw nuts
• 1× Bolts
• 20 x 12/70 .50 BMG slug shotgun shells
• Unlocks purchase of the Windham Weaponry Rail Gas Block for AR-15 weapons at Mechanic LL1 (helpful for removing front sight posts on M4s)

MP-133 Specifications Needed:

• 60 or higher durability
• 47 or greater ergonomics
• 850 or less recoil
• 4 or fewer slot spaces used
• Extended 5+ round capacity magazine
• Tactical device like a laser or flashlight

This uses:

• MP133 Four Stock
• RK-6 Foregrip
• Blue Laser
• GK02 Muzzle Brake
• MP133 Cylinder Adapter
• MP133 Plastic Pistol Grip

You may substitute certain parts, like using a XC1 Flashlight instead of the laser. Custom presets can speed up assembly of the full compliant shotgun.

Acquiring Needed Parts

Details on sourcing some of the key components required:

MP133 Plastic Stock: Obtained via barter of circuit boards with Mechanic. Can harvest boards from loose tech loot spawns or breaking down computers and electronics.

Laser & Foregrip: Available LL1 from Skier traders.

Muzzle, Adapter & Grip: Sold by Jaeger but the GK02 muzzle is rare before loyalty level 15. Will list muzzles for sale on Fence when possible to assist with quest.
